Privacy Policy

Shohei Nakagawa (hereinafter referred to as "Developer") establishes the following privacy policy ("Policy") regarding the handling of privacy information in the "Veditist" application ("Service").

Definition of Personal Information

"Personal Information" refers to information that can identify a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number, or email address.

Information Collected

To provide, operate, and improve the Service, the Developer may receive the following information from the services used by the app:

• Device and app information needed to operate the Service
• Service usage information, such as screen views and feature usage
• Usage data (screen views, feature usage, device information, etc.), collected via Firebase Analytics provided by Google LLC. This data is managed under a random user ID generated by the app and is not linked to personally identifiable information such as your name or email address
• Crash and error information used to improve the stability of the app (stack traces at the time of a crash, device information, etc.), collected via Firebase Crashlytics provided by Google LLC
• Information used to process and manage in-app purchases (the user ID generated by the app and the status of purchases and subscriptions), collected via RevenueCat provided by RevenueCat, Inc.
• Information provided when making an inquiry, such as an email address

Photos and Video Files

The Service requests access to the user's photo library only when the user selects videos to convert or saves converted videos. Video files are processed locally on the device and are not uploaded to the Developer's servers by the conversion feature. The Service does not request or use location, health, or motion data.

Purchases

In-app purchase information is handled by Apple and RevenueCat to provide subscriptions, one-time purchases, and entitlement status. The Developer does not receive the user's payment card details.

Sending Usage Data and Withdrawing Consent

By tapping "Get started" on first launch, the user agrees to this Policy and consents to the sending of the usage data and crash information described above.

You can stop sending usage data at any time by turning off "Share Usage Data" under "Settings" → "Privacy" in the app. When turned off, usage data stored on the device is deleted, and no further usage data is sent or linked to your user ID. Crash information is sent regardless of consent in order to keep the app stable, but it is linked to your user ID only if you have consented.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services. These providers act as the Developer's processors and handle data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Because their servers are located outside your country (including in the United States), the collected information is processed abroad.

• Firebase Analytics / Firebase Crashlytics / Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC): usage analytics, crash reporting, and delivery of app configuration. Crash information is retained for 90 days. https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.): processing and management of in-app purchases. https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Purpose of Use

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To guide and support users
• To enhance the convenience and quality of the Service
• To comply with laws and regulations

Provision to Third Parties

The Developer will not provide Personal Information to third parties without the user's consent, except as required by law and except for the processors listed under "Third-Party Services".

Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion

When a user requests disclosure, correction, or deletion of their Personal Information, the Developer will respond promptly within a reasonable scope.

Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be changed without prior notice to users.
